Former FCC member sings at the state funeral of HM Queen Elizabeth II
Saxon Robbins, who with his brothers Fox and Axel was a very valued member of Fulham Children's Choir before joining the choir of the Chapel Royal, was one of the choristers leading the worship at Westminster Abbey on 19th September. We are all very proud of him.
Prize-winners at Leith Hill Festival
Fulham Children's Choir were very proud to win their category (Under 18 choirs) at the Leith Festival on 16th March 2019. The choir performed beautifully and received some lovely feedback from adjudicator Amy Bebbington, particularly about the wonderful solos performed by several members. We are very proud of our trophy!

Fulham Children's Choir receives funding from Olgarhythm

We are delighted to report that we have been granted £400 from Olgarhythm (http://www.olgarhythm.com/), a charity set up by classical pianist Olga Jegunova and actuary Glyn Eggar. Olga kindly came to our informal concert on Tuesday 27th March and we are thrilled that she has decided to support us in this way. The funds will be used to enable all children who wish to attend our forthcoming tour to the Isle of Wight to do so for free, as well as continuing to provide subsidised places for children who might not otherwise be able to afford the termly fees. Thank you Olga!
Fulham Youth Choir receives funding from the Daisy Trust
Older members of the Children's Choir have started to stay for an extra 30 minutes at the end of the rehearsal to enable them to further their vocal, choral and musical skills. We are hoping to develop this into a Youth Choir and are excited to announce that we have received a generous grant of £500 from the Daisy Trust to enable us to carry on this project for another term. If you have a child over the age of 13 who would be interested in joining the Youth Choir please get in touch!

Fulham Children's Choir supports Care4Calais
At our end of term Christmas concert we raised £150, half of which is going towards funding our tour to the Isle of Wight; we donated the other half to Care4Calais, (http://care4calais.org/) a charity working to support refugees in Calais. They spent the donation on providing food for 50 refugees from Afghanistan, including rice, beans and oil but the special treat was fresh eggs, something they almost never have. Thank you for your donations!
Christmas carol singing at the Duke on the Green
The children enjoyed singing carols to a packed pub at the Duke on the Green on Tuesday 5th December - thank you Maria for inviting us!
Tour to the Isle of Wight
Our tour to the Isle of Wight in October 2016 was a huge success - following the fundraising events of our families and friends, 13 choir members were able to spend three days on the Island free of charge. We gave two performances and had a wonderful time exploring the beach, singing together and making friends. Thank you to all those who helped us.

Fulham Children's Choir sing at the
Royal Albert Hall!
Members of Fulham Children's Choir worked extremely hard to prepare sections of Handel's famous oratorio 'Messiah' to perform alongside 1000 other young singers for the first time at the Royal Albert Hall. The performance was led by Suzi Digby OBE (known as the glamourous choral guru in the UK). Our children did amazing job singing such different music as we were easily the youngest choir there and even had a special mention!
